"The Holistic Pet" at Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue
Join veterinarian and author Dr. Donna Kelleher for an evening of discovery about holistic medicine for dogs and cats. Dr. Donna uses a combination of nutrition, acupuncture, chiropractic, herbal medicine and homeopathic remedies to promote animal healing from within. You will learn the basic theories behind these practices as well as their application to common complaints like allergies, digestive upset, arthritis, infections and anxiety.
Dr. Donna will also share three ways to prevent cancer in your pet and ways to keep your pet in optimum health including teeth care and flea prevention. You will also learn how to add healthy, balanced homemade food to your pet's diet and discover the pros and cons of feeding cooked versus raw foods.
Time will be reserved for questions.
