"Donna Kelleher is an answer to prayer. Our Cocker Spaniel Andy had been sick with diarrhea for over a year and traditional veterinary medicine was unable to help him. Under Donna's care the diarrhea stopped, his thyroid function has improved, and she has supported his hips, shoulders and back with acupuncture and chiropractic care.
"At 14 years old he is still going strong. We highly recommend Dr. Donna and her caring support."

"Topper has had several episodes of diarrhea and severe stomach pain over the years. The emergency vet clinic said he probably had Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), and if he had another episode we should come in for a scoping procedure, which would cost about $2,000, and that if IBD was confirmed he would have to be on a special, very restrictive diet, and treated with steroids for pain episodes.
"Dr. Donna had helped Topper through veterinary chiropractic after a back injury, so I checked with her about the IBD and she told me she had great success treating it without steroids, scoping procedures or significantly restricting a dog's diet. She did NAET treatments for Topper and prescribed herbs for him to take twice a day: cats claw, marshmallow and passion flower.
"This was over a year ago, and Topper has had no more IBD problems. He is a happy, healthy dog, loving life and bringing much happiness to everyone in the family."

Mast cell cancer is one type of malignant cancer that responds well to diet, herbs and acupuncture. After a surgical removal, the tumors often return and spread quickly to the lymph nodes. This type of cancer is common when the dog has a history of allergies and itchy skin and in Boxers and Beagles. But it occurs in almost any breed. Mast cell tumors can look like any other tumor but usually they are quick to grow and turn red and active in color.
With numerous supplements to control the growth of the small tumors in old dogs for whom anesthesia is dangerous, it is possible to keep the tumors small and reduce the risk of spread. Bella the Beagle is a 15-year old dog with heart, kidney and neurologic issues. When she got this mast cell cancer on her elbow the surgeon would need to graft her skin in a lengthly surgery in order to get wide margins. Even then, her skin might not have healed. So we have treated her with diet, herbs and acupuncture and the tumor has remained unchanged for eight months so far.

"Roxie is our supernatural companion, when she became unable to get up, walk or stand on her own, we took her to previous veterinarian who recommended a specialist and one led to another. After seeing three vets and consulting two on the phone as well as a dentist and a dermatologist, Roxie’s only prognosis was euthanasia.
"We knew there had to be more hope for a 106-lb., nine-year old dog who was itchy, arthritic and had some bad teeth. After hours of searching the Internet we discovered Dr. Donna, who was the answer to our prayers. After Roxie’s first chiropractic and acupuncture treatment, she took her first steps in more than three months. We discontinued the pricey, problematic pharmaceuticals she had been on for three years. After eight weeks and at Donna’s urging, we enrolled Roxie for hydrotherapy and made our first appointment at Heavenly Spa in Fall City. I won’t ever forget lugging our girl — a Mastiff/Rottweiler/German Shepherd/Lab mix — to
her first swimming session and then carrying her back out of the pool to the car.
"But fast-forward to today. Roxie now weighs 76 lbs., swims twice a week, is on a raw diet supplemented with herbs, and only needs acupuncture every five to six weeks, down from her original weekly appointments. We now bring five of our seven dogs to Roxie’s bi-weekly appointments at Heavenly Spa, and all of them combined have lost a total of more than 100 lbs. Our animals, especially Roxie, have a new existence on this planet and are in the best shape of their lives.
"Roxie has gone from not being able to move on her own, to going up and down stairs and getting in and out of the pool. Her favorite thing besides playing ball used to be standing in the car with her head out the window. Now she is able to do both and has even jumped out of the car to speed walk to the pool and gotten her front legs back in our SUV after an hour of warm water therapy.
"Every day is a blessing with Roxie as she continues to amaze us. We are forever grateful to Dr. Donna as well as Heavenly Spa for giving her a chance and believing in her, then going above and beyond and allowing her heal and thrive. If it weren’t for them Roxie would have departed this earth well before her time."

"Piper was 7-years old and had been battling fistula for about a year and a half. We had been treating her with the help of a very skilled animal homeopath and a DVM. They both believed healing the dog's immune system holistically rather than using drugs to suppress symptoms. At the year and half point, we had helped Piper but really felt that the disease was winning and Piper was not going to overcome it. At this point my strong, beautiful young German Shepherd was bone thin, covered in open wounds, itchy and was giving up. I could see it in her eyes, and it killed me.
"I asked every dog friend I knew if there was any kind of natural vet in the Bellingham or Seattle area. Finally Dr. Donna's name was given to me by my human natural health care clinic. They said her reputation for treating difficult cases was excellent. I contacted Dr. Donna by email stating how grim Piper's case was, she needed help urgently, could Donna see her, and had she dealt with GSD with fistula before? Donna replied quickly and her words and experience were encouraging. Yes, she has GSD with this very condition. Yes, she has had very good results. And yes, she was looking forward to meeting us.
"Dr. Donna treated Piper using NAET to help rebalance her immune system and clear her from having reactions to various foods and allergens. Piper also looks forard to her acupuncture sessions, falling asleep in Donna's office with needles sticking out of her paws, forehead, legs, and back, and awaking afterward with a good shake and visibly more calm, happy and rested.
"Donna has added many new vegetables to Piper's existing BARF diet including dandelion, burdock and parsley, but it is the unique Chinese herbs and supplements that make the most noticeable difference. The fistula creates an incredible amount of damp heat in Piper's body. It burns up all of her calories, leaving her thin, depleted and weak. Donna put Piper on a blood heat powder formula to counteract and rebalance this. Two days after taking it, Piper's symptoms were gone, she started to gain weight and her open sores healed on her now dry, cooler skin.
"The road has not always been perfect. I believe there are peaks and valleys with most autoimmune diseases. Donna has always been able to pull Piper back out of a valley, even deep ones. Piper lives most of her life on the peaks now though. This past October she turned 10-years old. She is bouncing around like a puppy, and she plays with her much younger Silken Windhound siblings with joy and is always the one first to the toy box to tempt them.
"We are so extremely grateful for the blessing Dr. Donna has given Piper and our family through her incredible skill, knowledge, kindness and support. I only wish more dogs like Piper could find their way to this kind of treatment for happier healthier lives rather than turning to drugs, surgeries and other more invasive treatments, often with devastating results."
